Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200 review May 11, 2005 • Review of Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200 i had the a200 for one weak it took great photos in the bright sunshine and was just like a scaled down slr, i have a maxxum 7 film camera and had been happy with all minolta gear.THE A200 was supposed to be my ideal move.
Tech help was no help because Konica sold the division that made this beauty to Sony whom had no interest what so ever in repairing it. I got about a months worth of work on it and about a years worth of headache. It is no where near worth the risk. I won't buy anything with the Konica name because of this experience. Just got a DiMAGE A2 from ebay and it came with a genuine KM battery. Charged it fully and A2 came on fine. However after playing around for 5 mins and maybe 10 test shots, the battery warning indicator came on. Soon it just auto shut down completely. I thought it was just an old and bad battery. Tried recharging a few times more, same thing.

PMA 2003: Minolta has today announced the direct successor the the F100 (and you thought it was the F300!), the new four megapixel DiMAGE F200. Interestingly the F200 has a different layout than the F100 or F300 with rubberized strips and relocated controls, levers and displays.
